Small Fuchsia Bows

 Our loveliest Rosa ordered 15 little bows for her little class ♥ I was more than happy to make them for her! I put them in some cupcake cups that Panagiota had brought me from the Netherlands, and wrapped them like they were sweet treats!

Baby W.i.t.c.h. live at Alavastron

Do you remember her from that post? Well I attented one more live of Michaela Paras, aka Baby W.i.t.c.h., at Alavastron, Athens this time. Michaela was wearing a sailor stripe dress, her Double Crochets' black cuff and a special earring I made her for that night! Apart from her style choices (which I dig), I  highly recomend listening to her music, it's divine!

Wooden sunnies from Greece!!

Xylo (ξύλο) is wood in Greek, and Xylo eyewear is a new brand from Syros (that's a Greek island). The people behind Xylo, are running a campaign at indiegogo  to gather the money, and reach their goal, in order to make Xylo eyewear their new dream job!

I contributed to the campaign by getting myself a wooden usb flash driver, but you can grab a pair of sunnies (or maybe two) and help them make their dream a reality, here .You should totally love their work! Oh did I mentioned that the campaign ends in just 2 days!?!

That would probably have been the last bazaar of the summer for Double Crochets, but I can't wait for September to come. We also had a huge giveaway! and one lucky winner got a lomographic fisheye Baby 110 gold camera, yay!

A mini comic

Hallo again!
Me, my sister and my brother have been reading "My cardboard life" for a while. We used to send emails with our favorite ones to each other (hallo cute Cardboard Coline, bitchy Paper Pauline and Polar Bear). Then I was following Philippa Rice on Tubmlr, mostly because she is also a crocheter! Things come and go and at some point I've totally forgotten about Phillipa Rice and her sweet creations (sorry!), but when two weeks ago I accidentally came across Soppy! It was love at first site, I am a sucker for love stories, I had to take the mini comic at home! (my first online purchase yay!)

It came with two cardboard life cards and a hand written thank you note! Sooo sweet!
